Northern California Schedule

I am continuing to do more classes in Northern California every few months. July is one of those months.

I have Reiki 1&2 classes in Calistoga on July 4th weekend, and the following weekend (July 12-13) in San Francisco Millbrae, about a mile from airport, and an easy walk from the Millbrae stop on BART.

Friday night July 11th will be a healing night/meet and greet in my suite at the Quality Suites. starting at 7pm.

Reiki Master Class July 19-21, also in Millbrae.

Southern California Schedule

PASADENA (Sierra Madre)

The Sierra Madre Reiki Healing Night is Thursday Jun 26th, followed by Monday June 30

There is a Reiki 1&2 class this weekend, Jun 27-28, full of great people, if you would like to join.

There is a Reiki Master class Aug 9-11. Next one will be in November

SANTA MONICA

There will be a healing night August 1st (cost is $20)

There will be a weekend Reiki 1&2 class Aug 2-3 at Santa Monica College, space is still availble

New **Online Distance Healing Class** $99, July 15 (Starting in Sept this class will be $149)

Distance Healing is one of the most powerful aspects of Reiki. Come explore what we it really can do. This 9 week online class will use a combination of videos and text to explore what Reiki Distance healing can really do. To register, you must be Reiki 2 or above. What we can do for the Universe? Reiki the News!

Ask not what the Universe can do for you, but what can you do for the Universe.

It is such a temptation to ask the Universe, or God, or Reiki for what ever we would need for life to become a permanent vacation of ease. To have all our wants attended too, to have love, health, and money fall into happy laps, without inconvenience or work on our part. What's more, we have it happen for us on a fairly regular basis. The universe lines up to find us people who want to treat us to dinner, want to get to know us, and people who have just the resources we need.

On the other hand it is increasingly clear that while the universe may be fine, the world we live in is under increasing strain. Fudo, who is one of the deities in Japan sits in the flames of life and says "All this is fuel for my enlightenment." The world must be getting enlightened in a hurry!

I would like to encourage Reiki people all over the world to spend a few minutes each day sending Reiki to the news, and a few minutes at the end asking that Reiki be sent to "Improving the future of the world." If you are someone who does not like watching or listening to the news, just send to "whatever is happeneing in the world right now that needs it" as well as sending to "Improving the future of the world"

I have been sending energy to the news for a long time. It has changed the way I percieve the news. While it is still easy to get caught up in the negativity of current events, I often get a sense of events having hidden positives of bringing people together, and people focusing energy into solving the problems of the world, and understanding the need to make changes in the way they live.

I also get an incredible sense of thankfulness from the universe, and sometimes the news stories I tend to watch beging to improve and change. Imagine if 100,000 Reiki people sent positive energy into the news, and the concerns of the planet every day.

I would like to challenge you to send Reiki to the news for the next three weeks, then report back to me in an email. I will include the best ones here in the next newsletter.

One of my teacher friends has a son with minor autism amongst speech impediment. After I worked on him, he said his first full sentence (He’s 7) His mom cried.

Last Months Newsletter Article - Be the Lighthouse Not the Sponge

Got alot of great response from last months newsletter!

Dear Jess,
You are truly a MASTER of the Metaphor.  Your article on being a lighthouse instead of a sponge was truly wonderful.  I certainly saw myself in it, since I am like a magnet for energies that I would just as not have around me.  When I start responding to anger or hostility around me, I will now think of being a lighthouse, instead of reacting with my own anger. I have saved this article to pass on to others, showing you as the author, of course.

Three Letters

please send as much distance reiki to julie as you can. she hasnt had pain meds for about a week and she's been getting crazy anxiety attacks. we think that's because she's going through withdrawls from the narcotics. we took her to the ER last night because for the past three days she's been slurring her speech, falling, having trouble seeing, and basically just sleep walking (minus the walking) and we cant wake her up to a level of consciousness where she is self reliant. she comes in and out of it randomly after she finally stops shaking and moving around aimlessly, but it only lasts an hour or two because she either starts feeling realy anxious and needs xanax or paxil to calm down but that throws her back into limbo or i do reiki on her and she goes to sleep but sometimes wakes up in limbo. the doctor at the hospital hooked her up to an iv and and sent her home after saying she is anemic again and has a bladder infection...... but i dont buy it. ive never heard anemia or a bladder infection giving someone these symptoms. she has a doctors appt next wednesday with her primary care physician. hopefully he can be more helpfull than he has been lately. please be as generous as you can with your prayers and reiki and spread the word to other reiki masters who might know julie. thanx alot! and sorry for missing wednesday, i got caught up with battling julie's anxiety. we'll make it to the next one though.

i just wrote a big ass responce for you but then my computer shut down by itself and i lost it all. SO this one will be short and to the point. julie is doing much better. no more zombie sleep walking or extreme anxiety. infact we have had a few random days of blessed wellness when she experiences "no pain". so thank you for your love, consern and all your help.that goes for everyone who sent reiki to her. thank you and God bless
