New **Online Distance Healing Class** $99, May 7th

Distance Healing is one of the most powerful aspects of Reiki. Come explore what we it really can do. This 9 week online class will use a combination of videos and text to explore what Reiki Distance healing can really do. Basics, Situations, Levels of the Soul, Abundance, Specific healing complaints, distance space clearing, Ghosts and more. Will also include sending energy to each others healing and manifesation requests.

To register, you must be Reiki 2 or above. New classes will be posted on Wednesday evenings, you can watch the videos and post comments and results throughout the week.

This class will be offered again starting in mid July, when it will be advertised in the Reiki News Magazine, but this first class is just for my students and the readers of this newsletter. Your feedback will really help!

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Tell everyone about the Reiki Holistic Healing Demonstration I'm doing at the Pasadena Central Library on May 1st (and again on July 11). The auditorum seats 150 people, so lets have lots! The format will be more of a formal introduction (about 30 minutes) followed by doing Reiki on people. Would love to have you come and help. Could you download and print 5 copies of the flyer and pass them out or post them? (I may make a few minor changes this week.Print a copy, if doesnt look right, wait a few days.. i may update it (it will say i have here. but i won't send out another newsletter))

My full healing night schedule is posted for both Pasadena(Sierra Madre) and Santa Monica (at Santa Monica College Bundy Campus) I have upcoming classes in both locations, including a weekday class in Santa Monica

I have an early May Reiki Master class, should be a great group. Everyone who has got alot out of Reiki 1&2 for even a few months should seriously consider the Reiki Master class.Whether you are interested because you want to continue with Reiki for your own development, or you would like to be able to teach reiki to a few family or friends, or you want to be a dedicated teacher. This class is a great starting point, plus it is the BEST class for people who love attunements cause in addition to getting them from me, you practice giving and recieving them over and over. Also this class is a prerequisite for my favorite class to take.. Karuna!

Busy working on the distance healing class, and want to get this out to remind everyone about the Pasadena Central Library Reiki night, so the newsletter this month is a bit short.

Thanks to all the people who called and emailed to make sure everything was okay:!

On April 26, in the middle of the afternoon of the Reiki class, a student said. "the mountain is on fire"
We all looked, and could see the smoke billowing up, it felt more exciting than menacing. All afternoon we heard the helicopters. A little later we all sent distance healing, but it didn't feel like it was a big deal, it seemed like it was under control. But it got bigger and bigger over the afternoon.

The hills above Sierra Madre are very steep. We could see the smoke, and at night the flames. I later learned the fire came within 100 yards of the Nature Friends retreat center, just up the road from where I lived, and that only their dilligence in hosing down their property kept the fire at bay. No homes were lost. 1000 people were asked to evacuate.

Being at my teaching location in the town below, I felt a curious double reality. I could sense the nervous on the edge worry I would have had if I still lived there, and knew a wild fire was creeping closer. While teaching, I could not even drive the one mile up to my own neighborhood to find out. On the other hand, in the reality I live in now, while I still teach in Sierra Madre, all our stuff is safely in storage, and we are moved some miles away

It was interesting too, teaching Reiki and watching life in town go on as normal, while such a short distance away, the hills were burning, people were risking their lives to battle them, while others feared for their homes, and spent the night in shelters. It is like so much of our lives. We fight the fires we can fight, and stay focused on our own lives, and hope the rest of the world doesnt burn down around us.
