NORTHERN CALIFORIA - Reiki 1&2 this weekend April 5-6 in Dublin/Pleasanton, ART/Master Class next weekend. Friday night meet and greet at my hotel. July classes in San Francisco and Calistoga. There will be a fall Karuna Class. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Tell everyone about the Reiki Holistic Healing Demonstration I'm doing at the Pasadena Central Library on May 1st (and again on July 11). The auditorum seats 150 people, so lets have lots! The format will be more of a formal introduction (about 30 minutes) followed by doing Reiki on people. Would love to have you come and help. Could you download and print 5 copies of the flyer and pass them out or post them? (I may make a few minor changes this week.Print a copy, if doesnt look right, wait a few days.. i may update it (it will say i have here. but i won't send out another newsletter))
My full healing night schedule is posted for both Pasadena(Sierra Madre) and Santa Monica (at Santa Monica College Bundy Campus) I have upcoming classes in both locations, including a weekday class in Santa Monica I have an early May Reiki Master class, should be a great group. Everyone who has got alot out of Reiki 1&2 for even a few months should seriously consider the Reiki Master class.Whether you are interested because you want to continue with Reiki for your own development, or you would like to be able to teach reiki to a few family or friends, or you want to be a dedicated teacher. This class is a great starting point, plus it is the BEST class for people who love attunements cause in addition to getting them from me, you practice giving and recieving them over and over. Also this class is a prerequisite for my favorite class to take.. Karuna!
Situation TimeLine: Healing Relationship with Money All my life, money has been an issue. I have health, I have friends, I have a spiritual connection, and I am accomplishing my dreams and really do feel I am leaving the world a better place. I am describing this here NOT because I want sympathy, but because of what a common problem this is, and to give you a more personal feeling of how I am using Reiki to work with it. Often true healing occurs when the problem becomes more interesting than relieving the symptoms. I have been doing TimeLine Reiki for several years to send healing to people. Time Line Reiki To do yourself (I recommend sending it to yourself a few times first) Do a distance symbol, Say your name 3 times. put your hands together, intending the left to be the point of conception and the right to be the present.. then slowly separate your hands imagining a line growing between them. This is your life, your time line. Feel along the line and send some healing to yourself at significant events, birth, moves, major stresses, is a great way to send healing back in time to yourself. Use symbols, and any other reiki techniques you know to heal your time line. Draw a power synmbol to close. Time Line Situation Reiki Then a few weeks ago, it occured to me to try and send time line healing to my money situation. It felt yucky!. It was one of the most vivid sensations I have ever gotten when sending Reiki. Felt like a line of black sludge.I didnt want to touch it (which for me is saying alot). This was actually very promising! If knowing this is an issue in my life, I had sent distance healing to it, and it didn't seem so bad, that would mean that I was on the wrong track somewhere. Either the problem wasnt as bad as I thought, or it wasnt really what my problem was, or this approach was simply not useful. Working on this, I had not doubts I was on the right track! It was interesting too, to feel how my money stuff, which I generally think about as being a problem now, actually had a long history in the past. A very little thought about it confirmed this was correct as I remembered a great deal of other times in my life I had felt this way. So I started sending healing to it.. First I placed a Divine classified ad by raising a hand up and asking the universe to send the perfect energy, people, and resources to clean this Situation time line enough so I can work with it. I flowed the energy down the line, and while it is still on the black side, it no longer felt quite so yuck, and I could work on it. I did a bunch of mental/emotional symbol on it, and asked for more help. So far, this is mostly about clearing away old negative energy. I keep adding positive as well, but it mostly served to bubble up more trapped negative energy. Not everything can be healed in a day. So I am still working on this. Since I have done this, I have noticed some real shifts in my life. It seems easier to come to grips with creating a budget of how much I need for bills and such each month. I realized that just because my income is variable since I have different numbers of students each month, that my expenses are fairly constant, so now I have target numbers to try and meet for number of students etc. I have been able to find more energy to put into various projects (more about this in future newsletters) and to be better organized about some aspects of my business. I love the sitting around and teaching aspect of what I do, but I need to keep focused enough on the advertising,, outreach and new projects to keep it going. Also I got my first Royalty Check for my book. We have sold 768 copies in our first year. Not bad.. but plenty of room for improvement. So, from personal experience, I highly recommend that you try this technique on your own ongoing issues and let me know how you do. Experiment : Does what you think make difference If you are ever more tired after a Reiki session than before, you may have been trying too hard and been trying to push energy into the client. Many people who have done other forms of energy healing where you do build up internal energy and then push it out from your hands think they still have to do this with Reiki. But how do you know if you are doing this and how do you stop? Alphabet Reiki In a recent class I had students who felt what they were thinking made a differennce to the energy flow. I had them stand in pairs with one doing Reiki on the other to get a baseline of how much energy was flowing, Then I told the person giving Reiki to recite the alphabet outloud to keep them from paying so much attention to what they were doing. In all cases the person receiving felt NO difference in the energy. Smile and Think of God This is a technique I picked up from the Reiki Tummo. These people have the most wonderful expressions on their faces when they do Reiki. They are told to strengthen the flow of reiki by smiling and thinking of God. I had people try this in pairs also, and people did find it did give a slightly different quality to the energy. Also, this still keeps the focus away from pushing energy onto the client. So the practitioner does not needlessly tire
