Healing Night & Class Schedule

Starting in January I will be offering an extended option for Reiki 1&2 classes in Sierra Madre. The extended option will start friday nights with an origins of Reiki Slide Show and signed copy of my book. The standard Reiki 1&2 class will continue as always on Saturday & Sunday, and Monday has been added as a practice and new techniques day, including a Reiki guide meditation and healing attunement. The cost of the standard Reiki 1&2 will remain $350. The extended class will be $500. Anyone from past classes that want to only come to the extended portion of a future class can sign up to do so.

There will be also extended options for ART/Master and Karuna Master. Still working out the details.

Jess & Jeff Personal News

The Move Continues! We are slowly working through it. I think we are on schedule but who knows til it is over. We don't have to be out til Jan 19, I have most of my personal stuff packed, working on house stuff, furniture, and Jeff's stuff. There may be a "Help" call mid-month but in meantime we are just working at it steadily and I am cautiously optomistic. Jeff has a truck, we have our friend Ezrin to help, and my friend Carl may come for a week or two from Wisconsin to lend a hand.

Holiday Give-Away Party Dec 29-30

Friday December 29 and Saturday Dec 30th we will be having a Holiday Give Away Party, 7-10pm. (Changed to be two evenings)

People will meet at my teaching location at Inner Harmony, call us on your cell phone, and we will ferry people up to the house to look over stuff (not enough room for parking in the canyon) and share some mulled cider and other goodies.

Jeff and I are moving from a large house to a studio (and a couple of storage units)

We have many wonderful things that won't quite fit into our new place, but are too precious to simply send to good will. Candles, crystals, pictures, metaphysical and other books We would like to gift you our freinds and students with the treaures we are leaving behind. We will leave out a donation jar, in case you would like to make a donation to our moving fund, but the important thing is to take stuff home.

We also have a few pieces of furniture we would like to sell, and even a pinball machine.

Removing Clutter Energy from Objects

Objects pick up a certain ambient heaviness just from having been lived around for a while. Sometimes when we resist getting to work on a pile, it is because of the heavy chi connected into that pile. To remove the clutter energy, put a power symbol on a book or magazine and use that to 'sweep' the energy out of the space. This makes it easier to get to the physical stuff without having to deal with it's energy. This month I am going through alot of cupboards that havent been gone through for decades, clearing the energy first allows me to get to it faster and more easily.

Changing Cars and Houses - Soul Moving

Some cars are just transportation, but some develop a kind of soul or personality. When you buy a new car, what happens to the soul in the old car? What I do is keep a small collection of stones in my car to house the soul of the car. When I change cars, I take these stones into my hand while seated in the old car, and request that whatever part of the soul of the car that would like to come with me to move into the stones. Then I bring the stones to the new car, and invite the soul to join into the energy of the car.

This can also be done with houses. If you plan to move, let the house know what is happening. Reassure the house that your leaving does not mean it will cease to exist. Then invite whatever of the soul of the car that wishes to come with you to go into a favorite rock or object. Ask permission of the new house to add the soul of the old place into the new. then release the energy into the house where you are moving too, by placing the object in the area.

Spend some time in the new house. Say hello.. Get a sense of the feel of the place. Place your hand on an interior wall or corner and greet the energy of the house, and state you will be taking care of it for a while. Sometimes I will get a set of small stones, usually either clear or rose quartz. Use Reiki to charge and bless the stones to even out and clear the energy of your house. Then place a stone in each corner. If you use a crystal healing grid, you can put the house address into your grid.

Dear Jessica,
I just wanted to thank-you for your amazing Reiki website. I found it just when I needed the information most. I was attuned three months ago to Reiki 2 and the adjustments have been a bit of a challenge. When I read your (old) New Techniques I found a few really amazing remedies; ie calling my soul home - sending others souls home ... also placing a guardian (this is actually why I had run into my own problems I had thought of this and sent a guardian to watch over my niece - only I had sent one of my guardians leaving myself vulnerable - after reading your technique I have replaced my guardian).
I also wanted to thank you for the Reiki Symbol Balls - your techniques remind me to have fun.

I hope you and Jeff are doing well.

I have a couple amazing Reiki stories to share.
Two weeks ago, I had anaphylaxis from a food allergy
that my doctor said could have killed me. It was a bit
of a near death experience as I had seen white light
and auras, halos on everything, and became lightly
unconscious... but before I lost it completely, I had taken
some sudafed and then gave myself some Reiki.
I think the Reiki helped break down the mediators that
could have killed me. Since the allergic shock,
which is very much like what people who experience
bee stings or peanuts... and I've now got an Epipen
and a bunch of medications to take in the event
I come into contact with the unknown food allergy
(it's some substance in Harry and David's chocolate
covered cherries). So that's one Reiki miriacle.

The other miracle is that just last Friday, my dad had a stroke
and needed emergency brain surgery. His neurosurgeon
said he had a 10% chance to recover. The day of his
surgery, I spent several hours giving my father Reiki,
which helped him regain consciousness and made him
aware of having pain, but he asked me to remain "massaging"
his head because it was the only thing that helped him
not feel pain since he was not allowed to have pain medication
due to the doctor needing to monitor his natural responses.
By the second day, the doctor said that my father's condition
was now at 50% and he was surprised at the fast progress.

On the third day, I offered my father more Reiki in the hospital
and by the time I got to my hotel room, I learned that the surgeon
decided to move my father out of intensive care. My dad wasn't
scheduled to leave the ICU for another week and thereafter,
my dad was to remain in the hospital for two more weeks.

But on Christmas day, I returned with more Reiki healing...
my brother and his girlfriend who were very much skeptics
were astonished by our father's reaction to the Reiki and
asked me how they could "learn" how to offer Reiki...
so as I have recently become a Reiki Master, thanks to
your training and your former student, Shawn, I attuned
my brother and his girlfriend, and the three of us worked
together to give our dad Reiki healing.

Today is day four and I just received a call from my father.
He said that his neurosurgeon is completely surprised by
his recovery, that he's never seen anything like it, and that
my dad may now be released from the hospital in two days
so is expected to make a full recovery. Just five days ago
my dad was given a death sentence and now he's become
a medical mystery. All I can say is that I believe it has to be
the Reiki-- that it got to the source at the right time.
If my father remains to stay in my home on January 10,

I'll bring him to your healing night and he may then share
with you his experience.
