I will be speaking at the Reiki & Sound Conference in Sedona at the end of the month. Hope to see you there!

The Mt Kurama book has been delayed til mid April, though there is a chance there may be some prerelease copies at the Reiki & Sound conference in Sedona later this month.

My healing nights have been smaller lately. Please come to either the Monday or Thursday night, I'd love to see everyone.

I have a Reiki 1&2 coming up this weekend. I have one Spanish speaking student whose English is limited. Would anyone else who is suffiently bilingual care to attend and help clarify things during the class if I give them a discount?

The Reiki.org Scavenger Hunt.

This is something I developed for Reiki.org, to encourage people to become familiar with their website. It asks questions about where information can be found on the site. As much of it I thought would be helpful for all those on my mailing list, I thought I would include a link to a draft of it here. Scavenger hunt sounded so much more appealing than "Open Book Test"

Letter from a Student

I got the following letter from one of my students, ONE WEEK after she took the Reiki class. It really shows how well Reiki works, and how, if one really tries, one can do a lot with it right away.

Hi Jessica,
Hope you are doing well. I wanted to thank you again for a wonderful
Reiki 1 & 2 weekend. It was amazing for me...just the beginning of lots
of exploring. You did such a wonderful job of bringing us all together
and then teaching. Thank you, thank you.
I've had lots of fun with Reiki this past week. I asked my daughter if I
could "talk" to her slowly healing mildly-sprained ankle. She said yes,
then got extremely irritable after about 10 minutes. I had the sense that
there was lots of emotion stuck in the ankle. Since the Reiki session,
her ankle has stopped hurting and she is able to start modified soccer
training again. She thought that the irritable energy had been stuck in
her ankle and was now gone.
I had the chance to offer the "clearing your mind" using the sei he ki to
a co-worker. That was helpful to her (and rather remarkable to see). I
know her really well, and could see the "frazzled energy" just disappear.
I worked on clearing my house and energizing the mirrors and windows.
That is so helpful. My daughter is just becoming aware of her appearance,
and becoming critical of herself. I'd love to have the mirror offer
something that might modify what her mind says critically. These are such
good tools that you shared with us.
I'm doing the self treatment and right now concentrating on not catching
my daughter's cold. So far so good. As you can tell, I'm having a really
good time with this.

Reiki and Horses

I got a chance to visit some friends of Jeff who have a small horse rescue ranch. We spent a lot of time just standing around the corral and talking to each other. The chestnut named "Christmas" was fascinated by me. It would come and stand just behind me, then move around so I could do Reiki on its back. When Christmas had enough, Christmas would move away for a few minutes, then would come back and do the same thing, Sometimes she would even just stand their and lean against me (lightly). Afterwards I was told that Christmas never reacts to people this way, and that she was 30 years old, and had a bad back.And the next day she seemed much more energetic and happy than she had in a long time.

Reiki Cushions

Sitting in Reiki energy is great to help you focus your day. Draw Reiki symbols over the cushions of your chair. If you wish you could even draw them on fabric and put them inside your cushions for extra power. The Mental Emotional Symbol is a great aid to this, as it will help the chairs occupant focus on mental, emotional and will power. This can be especailly helpful for issues of school work, tax time, and getting stuff done.

Astrology Class

Cost $75 at Inner Harmony, 20 W Montecito, Sierra Madre This class is continuing to evolve and become more interactive. This will the first class of a series and will focus on the Captains (signs), Seas (houses) and Ships (planets), suitable for those who know nothing of astrology, and those who want to learn a different approach. Includes your chart. Please supply time, date, and place of birth when you register
