Japan and Reiki

Since then, I have been to Japan and met with a number of Reiki people there, and have plans to study with several non-Takata Reiki lineages beginning in fall 2001. I also have plans to spend time several days meditating on Mt. Kurama. Over the next few trips I hope to get the number of total days spent on Kurama up to 21. (Beginning in 2002, I may offer trips to Japan for Reiki people - see the classes portion of this web site)

The Kanto Earthquake Mikao Usui is described on the Usui Memorial as having first achieved recognition for Reiki by doing Reiki in these devastated areas. This short article presents facts and figures on the magnitude of this quake.
