Santa Monica College (SMC) Reiki Class Registration Information.

These classes are offered through Santa Monica Community College. I try to offer 1 weekend and 1 weekday class per semester. I also offer a healing night.
Please Register through the college if you can.. if you have too much trouble, you can just pay me my cash or check at the class.
The class space is not as cozy as the Pasadena/Sierra Madre location, but for west LA people it is more convenient. There are restaurants for lunch and hotels to stay at a short drive away.

HOTELS/DIRECTIONS

I don't have a hotel to recommend, but there are a number in the area though none within walking distance. Lately I have been staying at the Travelodge, but i try different places.

Finding the campus can be a trick, even if you are using Mapquest/YahooMaps/Google Maps, please print out the following directions.
From the 405 North, exit at National Blvd. Turn left onto National Blvd. and continue to Bundy. Turn left on Bundy. (OR From the 10, take Bundy Ave South)
Right after you pass Airport Blvd., turn right into the first drive way you come to (it is easy to miss and if you get to Rose, you've gone too far). 
Once you make a right into the driveway, continue down the short hill to the four-story building toward the rear of the property. 
Parking is free (though you may need to get a free permit from Jessica if is a weekday class)

Cool things to buy at Class

There is no materials fee for the class, because the class manual is included, and nothing is required. However I highly recommend you consider the following items. Payment for these items must be cash or check at the time of class. All prices include tax. Numbers of requests /diamater or radiation are approximate, experiment to find your own answers. Some items may not be available in all classes.
Reiki's Birthplace: A Guide to Mt Kurama Japan.. by (your teacher) Jessica Miller - 27.00
This is beautiful full color book about the mountain where Reiki's founder meditated and received the Reiki energy. It is part travel guide, part discussion of the Ki of the natural world, and energy development exercises, and part introduction to Japanese history and culture.

Reiki Distance Healing Lotus Grids:

These crystal lotuses are programmed by Jessica with Reiki to send distance healing to all of the requests placed inside. Simply put your requests in the box or dish beside it, and recharge your grid daily with Reiki. Students can readily feel the energy difference between an unprogrammed crystal lotus, and one charged with Reiki.
$25 small (<10 requests), $40 medium (<25 requests), $125 large (25+requests)

Crystal Ball Reiki Radiators:

The stronger the energy field, the easier it is to perceive Reiki and to do deeper healing sessions. Psychics have been using crystal balls for hundreds of years to strengthen their perception and ability. Experiment with putting a little Reiki energy into the ball to start it, and see how much more energy you feel between your hands. Also excellent for meditation work.

Reiki is listed under the Healthy Living column, usually under "Fitness, Relaxations & Stress Reduction" but sometimes under "Health and Safety"
I offer both healing nights and Reiki 1&2 classes through the college. (Check both categories, sometimes they put healing nights in one category and the class in the other. I do occasionally teach Reiki Mastery in the Santa Monica Area, but I don't always do it through Santa Monica College.
Any changes or cancelations must go through the college.
