Distance Healing Sites
The real strength of Reiki, and of prayer, is when something happens and you need help. Always do the "real world" solutions you can do as well. And it is great that you yourself can do Reiki, and pray in whatever tradition where you find truth.
There are many sites from which you can request distance healing.
This is a good list to start with, but the web is always changing and you should also do your own search.
I recommend writing a one to two line request, and putting it in text document, then copying it as needed for the websites below. You don't have to use full names.

If you or someone you know would like to receive a distant Reiki treatment, please fill out the form below. The staff at the International Center for Reiki Training sends distant Reiki to those in need every workday. We will be happy to add you to our list as soon as you submit the form below.
At the end of two weeks, we will take your name from the list, so if you or the person you have requested healing for still need healing after this time, you will need to resubmit your request.
Also, we would be happy to learn about the results of your healing experience, so please use this same form to let us know of any improvements or other experiences you have. Thanks for allowing us to serve you.
The Reiki Page by David Herron
The Reiki Page (http://reiki.7gen.com) is sponsoring this service offering free Reiki long distance healing sessions to all who request it. Whatever your ill, Reiki is capable of helping.
Disclaimer: Reiki is not a medical practice, and we do not pretend to be medical practitioners.
Requests entered through this page are sent to a list of volunteers (groups.yahoo.com/group/remote-healing-requests/). Each of whom will respond in their own way to these requests. No guarantee is made what the response will be. I, David Herron, promise to send remote healing, at most once per week, to all requestors to this free long distance healing project.

Anyone can request Reiki to be send to a person in need by e-mailing directly to a group of volunteering Reiki Practitioners and Masters. To request distant Reiki treatment(s), provide the person's full name, age, current location and a brief description of the situation or health condition (picture/photograph if you have it). If you are requesting Reiki for someone other than yourself, the person (if conscious) has to agree to receive it. E-mail your request to the open list below, specifying "REIKI HELP" in the subject line:

Uucf-prayer -- sharing prayer requests, discussing prayer and other spiritual practices
This online community is open to all, whether UU or not, or Christian or Jesus-seeker or follower, or not. It is a respectful, affirming place to share personal prayer requests and prayers. Also to discuss issues and stories and different approaches to prayer--both personal and community praying--and to do the same with the many other and varied spiritual practices and disciplines in the broad free Christian tradition or from other traditions. Sharing news and book reviews and other information to help one another go deeper and wider in connecting with the Spirit. Sharing your favorite prayers of others. Sharing prayers you have written.
To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Uucf-prayer Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.)
