Energy Healing for Ordinary People
Energy healing has long been the something that only a chosen few could do. It has always been something of the mysterious provence of martial artists seen in movies ("Karate Kid"), or born into a family with this ability.
I jokingly refer to Reiki as "Energy healing for the stupid and the lazy". These are some of Reiki's best characteristics. Reiki does not require you to be brilliantly intelligent, psychic, wise, dedicated, nor confident. All it takes is one healing night or spending a weekend to learn what is possible.
I love that Reiki is not about everyone becoming professional healers. Instead Reiki is about real people who can make a real difference in other people's lives.
